Two new CDs are in the works!
An all-star tribute to Fred Mills will be compiled from recordings by Fred's colleagues and former students. This project will include some of the finest brass playing in the world. 100% of the proceeds will go to the W. Fred Mills fund at the University of Georgia.
Also, a new CD of film music featuring Louise on trumpet, piccolo trumpet and corno da cacchia, along with L.A. studio pianist Mike Lang on piano, will be released this spring. The CD, to be produced by three-time Emmy winning composer James DiPasquale, will include works by Ennio Morricone, David Raksin, Johnny Mandel, Dave Grusin and others.
Celebrate the life of Fred Mills and keep his legacy and trumpet studio alive by donating to the W. Fred Mills Fund at his beloved University of Georgia.
